Common Interview Questions And Answers Asked In A Job Interview

Despite good qualifications, personality, or experience, the most important factor based on which you are selected for a job is the job interview. In a job interview, a group of well-experienced and qualified faculty of a company sits together and examines the candidates for screening the best ones. You will have to answer their questions correctly to get selected because wrong or unframed answers may result in rejection.

The questions asked in a job interview from one company to another. So, you should research well about the company and revise your skills before going to a job interview. But, still, many of you may face difficulty in presenting yourself and answer the questions properly during a job interview.

Boarding schools in Dehradun are the most preferred boarding schools in India and the reason behind this is the vast exposure to the latest technology and its application. Teachers also prepare students of higher secondary level for common interview questions and answers that are generally asked by the officials.

So, to help you in your job interview here is a list of the most common interview questions and answers asked in almost every job interview:

Tell Me About Yourself?

It is the most frequently asked question in every job interview. It may also be considered as a compulsory question that every candidate in a job interview has to answer. In this question, you should give a brief introduction about yourself that should include your qualities or skills apart from your resume. You can also give some extra points about yourself that set you apart from others.

Why Do You Want This Job?

In this question, the interviewers test your interest and eagerness to join the job. To answer this question, you should tell the reasons honestly why you want to join their company. You can also mention some good points about your job and also show how it is so important to you.

Why Should We Hire You?

It is a question where most people face difficulty, fail to answer, or completely quits. You should mention all your achievements, qualifications, skills, abilities, experience, or any good attributes that may increase your chance to get selected in the interview. You should also show how you can be beneficial to the company if you are selected and your interest in the job.

Why Do You Want to Leave (or Have Left) Your Job?

Not everyone in a job interview is a fresher, so this question is asked to those who have prior worked somewhere else. You should not criticize or say bad things about the company where you have worked earlier, as it shows a lot about your nature.

What Are Your Salary Expectations?

This question varies depending on the job. You should not present either an impossible or underrated answer. Therefore, you should do some early research and analyze your potential to decide a justifiable answer to this question.

How Do You Handle Stress and Pressure?

This is something that you have to answer based on your true abilities. You should include your characteristics and an example of a difficult work situation or project and how you handled it.

What is Your Greatest Strength?

This is the question where you have to flaunt your skills, abilities, and also your greatest strengths. By asking about your greatest strength, they try to get an answer from you that other candidates do not have. Your greatest strength should be relevant to the job and something that other candidates lack in them.

What is Your Greatest Weakness?

Everyone cannot be perfect; therefore, the only thing that matters is identifying your weakness and taking the initiative to improve it. The same goes for this question as to the interviewers' test, whether you are aware of your weakness or not. It also shows whether a candidate is presenting true or false facts about himself.
